Temporal Holography and the Mapping of the World

The Holographic Law refers to the idea that a local part of a system contains the information of the whole, and that there is a geometric mapping and symmetry between the whole and its parts. In ancient Chinese medicine, temporal holography means that within planetary cycles at different time scales, one can observe elements representing different energy fields rotating and alternating. To understand temporal holography correctly is therefore to regard scales such as year, month, day, and hour as gears of energy fields that can be superimposed upon or nested within one another. The limited predictive capacity attributed to ancient Chinese medicine does not, in this account, come from mystery. Rather, if the energetic properties of different cycles and their phase intervals are known, then certain kinds of phenomena should, with relatively high probability, appear in the world.

The holographic principle suggests that a local part is not an isolated fragment, but an entry point through which the order of the whole can be mapped.
