The Law of Spatial Holographic Mapping
The universe in which we live and the human body are presented here as worlds permeated by holographic regularities. The mechanism behind this is inseparable from nonlinear energetic coupling among different harmonics. Because different harmonics have different wavelengths, their manifestations can appear as fractal patterns. The ancestors of ancient Chinese medicine used the continuity of a symbolic system across spatial scales to perform highly precise cross-dimensional mapping and inference from extremely limited windows of observation. The law of spatial holographic mapping proposes that small local regions of the body do not exist independently, but serve as holographic projection zones of the entire system of the five zang, six fu, and channels and collaterals. Common examples of this kind of holographic reasoning in Chinese medicine include facial diagnosis, pulse diagnosis, auricular acupuncture, and even foot massage.
